The Sagra dei Osie (Bird Festival) has been held in Sacile for the for the past 734 years...making it one of Italy's oldest festivals. The city streets and square are lined with birds, dogs and even some unidentifiable animals. We didn't get there early enough this year to catch all the action but, we did manage to see (and photograph) a few of the picturesque canals and the fireworks show.
